Who we are — and who we are not

Auburn Fan Network is an independent fan community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Auburn University, its athletic department, or any of its official organizations. All Auburn University names, marks and logos belong to their owners. We refer to Auburn because this is a community of Auburn fans — nothing more.

Membership is free

Joining Auburn Fan Network costs nothing, and participating in the community costs nothing. If that ever changes for some future feature, existing features stay free and we will say so clearly before anything changes.

You must be 13 or older

By joining you confirm you are at least 13. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before meeting anyone in person through this site.

Your account

• Give accurate information about who you are.
• Do not impersonate anyone else — including Auburn staff, coaches, players, or media.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account.

What you post

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it you give Auburn Fan Network permission to display, store and distribute it within the service, so that the site can function. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies already stored in routine backups.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to post. See our Community Guidelines for what belongs here and what does not — those guidelines are part of these terms.

Watch parties and real-world meetups

This one matters. Auburn Fan Network may list watch parties and gatherings. We do not host, organize, staff, inspect, insure, or vet these events, and we do not vet the people attending them. Listings are submitted by members and businesses. We review them before they appear publicly, but review is not endorsement and it is not a safety guarantee.

If you attend or host a gathering you found here, you do so at your own risk. Use the same judgment you would use meeting anyone from the internet: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if something feels wrong.

Pick'em is a free game

Auburn Fan Network competitions are free to enter, involve no wagering, and award no prizes of monetary value — only badges and leaderboard position. Nothing on this site is gambling, and nothing on it is betting advice.

Things you may not do

• Harass, threaten, or target anyone.
• Post someone's private information.
• Scrape, spam, or automate against the service.
• Break the law, or use AFN to help someone else break it.
• Interfere with the site's operation or security.

Moderation and ending your access

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines. For anything short of a serious violation you will get a warning first. You can close your account any time by emailing us.

Copyright

Auburn Fan Network links to news coverage published by others and always sends readers to the original source. We do not republish full articles. If you own material you believe is used improperly here, email hello@theauburnnetwork.com with a description of the work, where it appears on our site, and your contact information. We remove infringing material promptly.

No warranty

Auburn Fan Network is provided as-is. It is a free community run by fans. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, error-free, or that anything on it is accurate — including scores, schedules, broadcast information, and anything posted by members.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Auburn Fan Network is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service, including anything that happens at a gathering you learned about here. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. Meaningful changes will be announced on the site and by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Auburn Fan Network after that means you accept the updated terms.
